Authorship Policy

Images and data obtained from images taken by a user with Skynet may only be used by that user or by others designated by that user.

The number of builders that must be included as authors on any publication depends on how extensively Skynet data contributed to the publication.

If Skynet data was the primary source of data in the publication: At least the first three people from the Skynet builders list and at least the first two people from each used telescope's builders list must be included.

If Skynet data was not the primary source of data in the publication, but contributed to the results of the publication: At least the first two people from the Skynet builders list and at least the first person from each used telescope's builders list must be included.

If Skynet data was included in the publication, but did not significantly contribute to the results of the publication: Only the first person from the Skynet builders list must be included.
